In the Miniatures Journal, I share the history of your favorite models and brands. Over 100 articles, podcasts, and videos to help you learn more about the miniature cars you collect. You'll find anecdotes about specific models, brands, and eras.
Discover the Miniatures JournalDiscover the treasures of my Model car shop
My shop features an eclectic selection of model cars from various eras and collections. This particular section of my catalog features carefully selected scale models, combining iconic models with lesser-known pieces that delight discerning collectors.
A specialist dealer at your service
As a specialist retailer, I offer a different approach to traditional collecting. The model cars in my shop represent my current stock, regularly updated according to arrivals and market opportunities. This dynamic approach allows you to discover a variety of models without necessarily seeking to complete a specific collection.
My catalog mainly favors the 1/43rd scale , the reference format for collectors, offering a perfect balance between detail and ease of presentation. I also enrich my selection with models in 1/24th and 1/18th scales for lovers of larger pieces, as well as some references in HO 1/87th scale for model railway enthusiasts.
Each model is available in limited quantities , generally between 1 and 2 copies. This rarity reflects the authenticity of my approach: all the Models that you discover are actually available in my current stocks.
A diverse selection for all tastes
My shop invites you to explore a rich universe where legendary racing cars and everyday vehicles that have become legendary rub shoulders. You will find Formula 1 models with iconic liveries, participants in the 24 Hours of Le Mans that have marked the history of endurance racing, but also French cars that have been part of the daily lives of our fellow citizens.
Classic car enthusiasts will appreciate the presence of vehicles from the 1950s to the 1970s, a golden age of French and European motoring. Modern-minded collectors will discover contemporary cars that reflect the technological and aesthetic evolution of the automotive industry.
The story of a shared passion
The concept of a boutique in the world of Model cars has its roots in the tradition of specialist dealers of the early 20th century. These traders, true scouts of talent and rare pieces, scoured salons and workshops to unearth the most remarkable creations.
This artisanal approach has continued through the decades, adapting to market developments and collectors' expectations. My shop is in line with this tradition, favoring quality of selection over quantity, authenticity over standardization.
The evolution of manufacturing techniques, from original cast iron to modern alloys, has made it possible to achieve impressive levels of detail. Historical manufacturers such as Dinky Toys and Solido led the way, followed by more recent brands that continue this tradition of excellence.
A revealing anecdote
The world of boutique model cars contains a fascinating anecdote linked to the emergence of specialized flea markets in the 1980s. It was during this time that many collectors discovered forgotten treasures in the back rooms of small Parisian merchants.
These chance discoveries gave rise to a veritable market in rarity , where an ordinary Model could become extraordinary through its discovery context. This romantic dimension of Model car collecting continues today, transforming each purchase into a small personal adventure.
This tradition of treasure hunting explains why so many collectors remain loyal to specialty stores rather than big box stores, favoring the human experience and unpredictable discovery.
Complete your Model collection
The Model cars in my shop occupy a special place in the automotive collecting ecosystem. They represent an opportunity to diversify a thematic collection or to create bridges between different automotive eras and styles.
This cross-disciplinary approach allows experienced collectors to enrich their Ferrari collections with complementary models, or to discover Porsches in lesser-known liveries. Newcomers find the opportunity to explore different worlds before specializing.
The target audience for this boutique selection includes both seasoned collectors looking for missing pieces and casual enthusiasts looking to indulge themselves without thematic constraints. This flexibility is one of the major advantages of this sales approach.
The interaction with other collections in the catalog creates interesting synergies. A rally model naturally sits alongside a family sedan from the same period, offering a more comprehensive view of the automotive era in question.
The perfect gift idea
The model cars in my shop make ideal gifts for many occasions. Whether for a birthday, Father's Day, or the holiday season, these scale models appeal to a wide audience thanks to their diversity.
The advantage of this selection lies in its ability to surprise. Offering a boutique model car allows you to discover an unexpected model, creating that special gift emotion that reveals a little-known facet of the recipient's passion for cars.

Did You Know? Anecdotes and Curiosities about our Miniatures
What is the most popular scale for collectible model cars?
The 1:64 scale is the most popular, thanks in part to brands like Hot Wheels and Matchbox. This size strikes a good balance between detail and storage space, while remaining affordable for collectors.
Why do some toy cars have rubber wheels?
Rubber wheels were common in the 1960s and 1970s because they provided better grip for play. Today, they are sought after by collectors because they are rarer, many having deteriorated over time.
How to recognize a first edition model car?
First editions are often distinguished by specific details: particular colors, lack of date marking, different packaging, or special numbering. They are usually produced in limited quantities when a new model is launched.
What determines the value of a collectible model car?
Value depends on several factors: rarity, condition, age, brand, and collector demand. Production errors and limited editions can significantly increase the value of a model.
Why should you avoid taking toy cars out of their packaging?
Keeping a car in its original packaging preserves its collectible value and protects it from dust, scratches, and oxidation. However, some collectors prefer to take them out to better appreciate the details and be able to handle them.
